The Kansas State Wildcats are no strangers to having players drafted to the NFL including Felix Anudike-Uzomah in the first round by the Kansas City Chiefs last year. Two more Wildcats added their names to that list in 2024 after tight end Ben Sinnott and offensive lineman Cooper Beebe were selected on day two of the NFL Draft.
With Sinnott and Beebe being drafted so far in 2024, K-State ups its all-time players drafted to the NFL to 153.
The Kansas State tight end was drafted in the second round by the Washington Commanders wit the No. 53 overall pick. The Waterloo, Iowa native was the second overall tight end drafted behind the outstanding Brock Bowers, who was drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders in the first round. Sinnott turned many heads at the NFL Draft Combine after having a 40-inch vertical and a 10-foot, 6-inch broad jump.
Ben Sinnott went from being a ZERO star recruit and walk-on to an all around receiving threat for @KStateFB. He will line up all over the formation in Kliff Kingsburry’s offense and the @Commanders just got themselves the perfect compliment to Zach Ertz. pic.twitter.com/K8ONjELxrm

The Dallas Cowboys selected the two-time Big 12 Conference Offensive Lineman of the Year in the third round, No. 73 overall. Beebe, a Piper,Kansas native, was a four-year starter along the offensive line primarily at left guard. He only gave up 5 sacks during his career and became known for his devastating pancake blocks. The Cowboys have found another big body to help protect quarterback Dak Prescott and help create running lanes.
