After going down 0-2 to the Minnesota Timberwolves, many wondered if that was it for the defending champion Denver Nuggets. Three straight wins later and they are on the verge of returning to the Western Conference Finals. On the night when he collected his third NBA MVP, Nikola Jokic was simply unstoppable, scoring 40 points to go along with 13 assists and seven boards in a 112-97 dismantling of the Wolves. The 2020s have been the decade of The Joker thus far, and if Denver can get past the Wolves, the Larry O'Brien Trophy may be staying in Colorado for another year.
